Is SSP For Me?
A simple checklist to help you understand whether your nervous system may benefit from the Safe and Sound Protocol.
Nervous System Patterns
I get overwhelmed more easily than I’d like
I have trouble relaxing or settling
My system feels tense, “revved,” or on edge
I shut down or withdraw when things get too much
Sensory & Emotional Load
Noise or busy environments drain me
I react more strongly than I intend to
It’s hard to come back to calm after stress
Connection & Presence
I feel guarded or disconnected around others
Stress makes it harder to read cues or stay present
Body & Mind
I carry chronic tension
My sleep or digestion shifts with stress
I get foggy or scattered when overwhelmed
What This Means
If your nervous system spends more time in protection than you want, SSP can help you find more ease, connection, and capacity. I
t’s not about symptoms — it’s about how your system responds to the world.
What SSP Is
SSP is a gentle, body‑based listening program that supports your nervous system in shifting out of chronic protection.
It uses filtered music to help your system soften, settle, and reorganize.
How We Work With SSP
You can choose between:
SSP Stand‑Alone — structured, non‑therapy support
SSP + Therapy — deeper, relational work (Oregon residents only)
Both options include pacing, check‑ins, and support tailored to your system.
Next Step
If you’re curious whether SSP is a good fit, you’re welcome to schedule a 15‑minute Connection Call.
It’s a calm, low‑pressure space to explore what you’re experiencing and what kind of support might help.
