Megan A. Wuest, MS is a Licensed Psychologist Associate specializing in individual and couple therapy, and just recently in Portland, Oregon from Eugene.
With over 15 years experience as a mental health therapist, and as a masters graduate of University of Oregon (Go Ducks!), she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are Trauma using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensatization and Reprogramming (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT).
Megan is an interactive, experiential therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates the complementary methodologies and techniques listed above to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. She is grateful of the 10 year mentorship she received from the late Martin Waechter, PhD.
She often brings Marley, her dog, to the office. She is also a certified Yoga instructor and Reiki Practioner.
